When you are getting ready to choose a design, you need to evaluate your content.
Is it serious or lighthearted? Are you trying to convey a laid-back or professional tone?
The idea is that your visual design should say just as much as the words you’re adding. Then, you’ll be selling in a very subtle way, but on several different levels.

I love how wordpress has so many themes. It’s too bad most of the free ones aren’t super great. Luckily I’m good at coding, so I can kind of tweak any simple wordpress theme to make it my own. I also must say that I can’t stand it when people use the default themes. It just bothers me… There’s no creativity involved in that whatsoever.
That’s the beauty of wordpress. You can turn your blog or site to really stand out with a little work with coding.
The best thing is all the informations can be found for free.
Although I must admit StudioPress has a really great and fast support too :).
