Have you ever been stuck in what seems like a dead end job?
Does it seem like no matter what you do there is no hope for advancement in your current career?
If that sounds like you, let me be the first to tell you there are options to overcome the hurdles that are bringing you down.
I was once just like you with no hope and no way out of a job that didn’t even pay the bills, but that was when I discovered a college online education.
It hit the point where I was tired of dealing with people who treated me horribly for pay that wasn’t worth much more than peanuts.
At one point in time, I am sure just about everyone has felt the same way I did at that moment in time.
Investing my time wisely
Once I knew that I wanted something more out of life, I decided that I had to make the decision to improve upon my career path, which is exactly what I did.
My time was precious, but I knew that I needed to figure out a way to allocate myself to get the career that I had always imagined.
Even though I had a family and a full-time job, I knew that things needed to be figured out to help make everything flow smoothly and improve upon my long-term goals.
After discussing things with my family, I made the leap into full-time college online education.
Simple, I wanted something more for my family.
I knew that sitting at the same old job was not going to get us where we wanted to be in life. There was no reason why I should put off going to school and finishing what I started in the first place.
Landing a better job
As I made my way through the program, there were plenty of advisors and career counselors to help you with landing the job of your dreams, or at least close to it anyway.
They helped me to get a job in my field of choice, which I would never have achieved without the college degree behind me to back me up.
Having the degree for potential employers showed them that I cared about my education and I wanted something more in life. If not for my degree, I would never have worked in the places that I did.
Preparing for something better
Do you realize how few people actually take the time to get their degree? Only a small percentage of the population has their college degree.
I knew that was not who I wanted to be ten years down the road.
Now, thanks to my college online education, I work for myself and operate my own business as a freelance writer. I would not have the knowledge or expertise had I never invested in my education.
Why drive all the way to a classroom when you can earn an online degree at home?
My pay is far more than what I made before going to college and my financial situation is completely different. No one should have to sit in a job that pays far less than his or her potential.
Don’t let anything hold you back from your dreams. Only you control how far you are going to make it, so take the time to invest in yourself and your education.
Your future is waiting for you, so make sure you make it the best that it can be. I know I sure did and I don’t regret it for a minute.
So what’s your story?
Do you have a success story about how getting your online education changed your life?
What motivates you to want to do better than what you are right now?

Sometimes getting an education can get you a better job, but other times it barely helps at all. Still, I would say 9 times out of 10 it is better to have a degree than not when applying for any job. You will automatically outrank those with just a high school diploma. So having a degree will make it easier to get jobs, but not necessarily easier to get better jobs.
I also think that it is extremely important to be self-disciplined, and self-motivated if you’re going to get your education online. There is no one to hold you accountable but yourself. If you can’t get yourself to do what you need to do, and you need outside motivation and accountability, then go to a physical school.
Thanks Lisha for sharing your opinion about college degree. Nice said about self-discipline and self-motivation, that’s the most important thing. Motivation is something that drives our lives in business, education… although sometimes not easy to find it.
It is really a good peace of work you have shared and I really like it. I will definitely refer my network on this site also.online study guides
